FACEBOOK’S NEW EMOTICONS

Social networking site Facebook is everyday ready with new changes for its users. Sometimes changes in the timeline and sometimes we see changes in the newsfeed. Recently, Facebook has introduced a new feature in it. Now, Facebook users would have better emoticons than before to express themselves. And the users not only can update their status with the help of these facebook's emoticons but can also tag their friends in these statuses. 

 A famous technology agency ‘Slate’ has regarded this feature as bad on the other hand some if the experts remarked it as a new and good experience for the users. With this feature they can better express themselves visually. These new emoticons will help them to express their doings more clearly and can also describe what they are feeling. According to experts, these emoticons given by Facebook are ‘activity based’. Till now you are able to update statuses like you are eating something but now you will be able share with your friends if what you are actually eating. No doubt it will be a nice experience for the users to express themselves not in words but by tagging pictures but talking about the popularity of the feature, time will tell us so.

With this feature the companies will be able to collect specific data for their users which may lead to advertising. These new ‘activity based’ emoticons will help the company to collect better related data then the users. When the companies will sell these data to related advertising companies then they would be able to identify the consumers’ needs and preferences more clearly. Somewhere this online advertising may provide better inline dialogging between customer and Company.
