TRANSFER APPS VIA BLUETOOTH ON ANDROID

Android is yet another revolution in itself which dared to change the entire mobile scenario – converting the mobile from a communication device to the music player, a handy and cheap PlayStation, a small screened laptop and much more! Android has much to offer today that Google play store looks loaded with new apps every other day! With so many apps emerging daily, the craze of having each one is quiet obvious. But not all are still able to enjoy the privilege of having them. Reason being that one requires an active internet connection to download and install them.

My friend just downloaded a 31mb app, and, guess what, downloading so much over mobile data connection takes a long time! Why to worry when you can do eth same within minutes via Bluetooth? Amazed? Yes, transferring apps via Bluetooth is not possible for some, but it is a walk in park for others. You can easily do that by two wonderful apps: Astro and Bluetooth transfer app! Here’s how!

If you are an app geek, you might have come across Astro file manager. It is one of the topmost file explorer apps that we are available with today. It lets you create backups of file which can be used later on. But this app has an interesting feature to provide. The backup files created in APK format can be easily transferred via Bluetooth facilitating the easy transfer of apps between two android devices.

Step1
Download the Astro file manager from Google play!
Step 2
Open astro and select the application backup from the popup windows that appears. This will order to app to detect all the applications which are stored on your device.
Step 3
From the updated list select the application you want to transfer and create a backup for it. Please note that the applications which have a lock symbol on them cannot be transferred.
Step4
Once the backup is created, open your memory storage and find out the folder “backup”
Step5
Activate your Bluetooth and transfer this APK file onto the target device.
Step 6
Open the file onto the other device once it is received and install it
Step 7
You are done!

Now an obvious questions which some might be pondering upon is how to transfer the files which have locked backups. Well, Bluetooth transfer app rules out that possibility. Just download the app from Playstore and install it. Go to the same folder of backups and now you will be able to transfer it through Bluetooth transfer app.
