BING SURFING 5 TIMES MORE DANGEROUS

The use the search engines have in online world is much more than any other tool. Only in a click it gives you solution for your questions. Many times in a hurry of getting information we click on the links in the screen without thinking a bit. From there starts the problem of malware, Trojans, and virus. The question arises can this problem be minimized? The answer is yes. Recently, a German company had concluded in his research that the users using Bing search engine are more prone to such malwares and viruses. 
 

When we talk about search engines the first word that comes in mind is that of Google. But besides it there are many worldwide search engines which users easily get through. In search engine domain ‘Bing Surfing’ is a famous Microsoft search engine. But the bad news for Bing users is that they are five times more prone to malware websites and viruses as compared to other search engines.  Few days back, Germany‘s republic testing lab, AB test has done a research. The 18 months research in AB test lab accumulated about 40 million i.e. 4 crore websites.
They gathered such data from seven search engines. 10 million websites from Google and Bing each were gathered after searching. 13 million websites from Russian search engine Yendex and rest of the data from small search engines like Blacko, Faro, Tioma and Bydu. When these 4 crore websites were taken into consideration a total of 5,000 websites were malware corrupted out of which 3,300 were from Russian search engine Yendex  and 1285 from that if bing. Google only had 272 such websites. It was concluded from the research the safest search engine regarding malware and you will get into malware websites only one in 40118 times while searching. According to research, everyday Google receives 2 to 3 billion search requests. 

Tech experts say that the users should themselves be aware of malware websites besides being aware by the browser on such websites.

·     You should open a mail only of a known person. Otherwise it’s better to stay out of it. You should immediately delete such mails and report them as spam.

·     Spyware is one of the viruses which can steal secret data from your computer and sent it to the hackers. Thus, you should remain alert.

·     If you come across an e-mail with a attachment you should be more aware while opening them.

·     If you are suspicious about any mail, please don’t send it to your colleagues, relatives and friends.

·     If you are saving a file in your computer which is send by an unknown person it can be very harmful and can corrupt your data.

·     There are thousands of viruses which are being introduced in the internet daily. For this you should use anti-virus in your computer.

·     There are many sties which provide you free anti-viruses. You can download them from such sites and protect your computer from viruses like spyware.
