3D movie without 3D glasses introduced by HP

Hewlett Packard’s inventors have created a 3D screen with which we can watch 3d movie without using 3D spectacles. Viewing angle of the video thus provided is so wide that viewers can easily see the full object by tilting the screen.
 

LCD

This screen has been made from conventional liquid crystal display (LCD). This is the same screen which is used in laptops, tablet and television. The 3D system inventors have expected that they will get the advantage of user interface by portable electronics, gaming and data visualization. HP labs situated at Polo Alto, California has made 3D display with complex physics which is less than half a millimeter.

CLARITY IN DISPLAY

Viewers get single perspective in movie theatres by using conventional 3D. Multiview 3D display helps in reflecting off light helping in making the image clear from every angle. In some of the multiviewing 3D Image Viewer spinning mirror, laser and multiple Graphics Processor are to be used.

NANOPATTERN GROOVES

HP display has made use of nanopattern grooves.  Pixel helps the light in different directions. It does not require any sort of new moving part or display component for its working. Making of conventional LCD only requires plastic sheet and glass which helps the white light in scattering and sending it to color filter, polarizing making it possible for the viewer in seeing clearer images.

THREE GROOVE SET

HP has converted normal LCD into 3D display with the help of this new pattern groove. Conventional LCD functions with the help of directional pixel having three groove set which helps red, green and blue light to scatter in different directions. According to HP researchers, they can make static image from 200 viewpoints also video and 34 frame per second can be made from 64 viewpoints.

According to an authority, science fiction will provide vision to future techniques.  David Crum, director of university of southern California, told that his many computer scientists are working on 3D systems’ content development.

HOLOGRAM

This three dimensional display has been manufactured in HP lab. Specialty about the display is that video appearing in it looks like a hologram and the viewer is not required to shake the glass. It is made in such a way that you can even walk in the HP system display. When you walk on the display it appears to you like that you have reached the world displayed in the video.
