Mahindra lunches E20 Electronic car

Finally time came when Mahindra launched Reva E20, an electronic car. Mahindra E20 will somehow reduce the burden on customers regarding hike in petrol prices.

Reva was the first electronic car which was launched in India but it could not gain much importance. This was due to the fact that it was a 2 seater car and was less prone to safety.

Mahindra has now launched Reva E20 overcoming the limitations in previous Reva. Reva E20 is a four seater car which can run upto 1 km in 50 paise. This is a first four seater electronic car in India. It is considered that it will save at least 70000Rs in a year if it runs 40 km per day. It is Mahindra’s first fully automatic and zero emission car.

CHARGING WITH SOLAR ENERGY

Its main feature is that you can charge it with the help of solar energy. It can run approximately 5 to 6 hours on charging it with solar energy. This car focuses on clean and green driving. it is pperfect example of new technology cars. If due to some reasons you are not able to charge it with electricity, you can alternatively charge it with solar energy. Thus, in every way Reva E20 leads to your savings.

MOBILE APPLICATION FACILTY

Mahindra’s E20 is electronic transmission car. It means that you can handle its doors and AC by using mobile application. This mobile application has not been seen in any of the small cars till now adding to its uniqueness. Generally, electronic mini car models uses only one door but Mahindra has broken this custom by launching Reva E20.

DISTANCE COVERED

Based on the new technology 2013, Mahindra has launched Reva E20 in three different variants. E20 in its basic variants has small sized battery, medium battery in mid variant and large lithium ion battery in top variant.                                                                                                       

Its battery has a capacity of 39.4 HP. It gets fully charged in 5 to 6 hours. When it is fully charged it can cover a distance of 100 to 160 km on leisure. This means that you don’t have to spendthrift on petrol. 

TUBELESS TYRES

Apart from this solar energy benefit and small sixed battery Reva E20 runs on alloy wheels. It has disk in front and drum brakes on its rear part. Coming on its external appearance, Reva E20 has colored body bumpers in its exterior which gives it attractive look. Besides this it also has tubeless tyres.

Company has declared 5.96 lakhs as its on-road price.
