Making one step forward, Nissan undoubtedly
has made a big step in Indian market targeting the middle Indian strata
launching the Nissan Datsun Go. The car is proved at Rs 4,
00,000 in India. This is the first car model of Nissan Datsun in India and will be
lunched in same in 2014. The car is a five seater with 5 door system!
The recently
unveiled car is being powered by
a 1.2 litre petrol engine. Company is also expected to bring together its car
in South Africa in late 2014. This hatchback is expected to beat the Hyundai’s i10 and Maruti Suzuki’s YL7. It is to be mentioned that YL7 won headlines
as being the most suitable car being a mixture of Astar and Zen Estilo.
The aim of occupying 10% marketshare by
2016 was made clear by the CEO of
Renault Nissan Carlos Ghosn. In his views, this car will help realize the
middle strata of society the dream of possessing a car. The car is being launched
in India with the motive of occupying emerging markets.
CEO of Renualt - Nissan foresees to extend their market share to 20% which
is at present limited to 1.2 percent in India. Datsun’s Go can be a medium to do so he added!

The company is having its plant in
Chennai and Go will be taking shape there only.
Talking about the looks and finish, the
car is an average looking vehicle but with stylish accommodations and interiors,
all thanks to latest technological advancements and new technology!Go has set a new bench mark for other car companies, through the advancements of new technology 2013, . Go is constructed in a way to maximize
the luggage space, the Indian customer look forward to!
Nissan
is further aiming to cut off its manufacturing costs from $5,000 to $3,000 in
order to make the car within reach of maximum,
However it will be exciting to note the
progress of Nissan Datsun’s Go. Since
about two thirds of the Indian market is successfully occupied by Hyundai and Maruti
Suzuki, who are the experts in producing customer oriented cars here, the evolution
of Nissan’s emergence will be worth watching.
Keeping in mind the 350 stores of Hyundai
and 1,200 stores of Maruti, Nissan looks forward to triple the stores by March
2017. The company at present shares just 100 dealers!
