APPLE ON THE WAY OF MAKING IDIOT BOX SMART: DREAM PROJECT OF STEVE JOBS

With the introduction of LCD and LED into markets, viewers are now looking forward to some other innovative technology advancements. Children have now become used to and older ones have got irritated by holding same remote and operating television. Idiot box is now really proving to be one! In the same context, Apple is now looking forward to make miracles in the field of televisions.


Steve Jobs revealed this possibility during one of his conferences in 2010 itself that Apple will soon be looking forward to make televisions and will like to offer a tough competition to all major satellites television companies. Steve Jobs said that viewers have become bored now of the same concept. Time is to introduce something more beautiful and technically advanced in markets. Steve Jobs that time, however, was not aware of the reaction of his company.

With the advent of one year, the confidence of Steve Jobs over his dream project increased furthermore. On 5th October 2011, on the day of his death, he told his biographer Walter Isaacson that Apple wants to make a highly integrated television which can be easily used by viewers.  The television would be able to sink with other devices and will also be compatible with apple iCloudonline storage service. At the end, he was found saying that he has completed his dream.

But the technology experts are busy in predicting as to when this television will enter markets. Apple’s television is going to affect around 156 Arab dollar markets.  It was stated by Apple that Apple TV will be excellent innovation of Apple under Tim Cook after Jobs.

Apple is acting very alert while introducing the product into market. This television is being manufactured under a preplanned strategy with aluminum hardware. However, the concept upon which this television is going to be based is out of the reach. The fact is quite obvious that television business is less margin one. They can’t set the prices of the devices as high as iPhone since countries won’t provide subsidy on that.

It would be interesting to see the tactics followed by the company and the special features that the TV will possess. Will viewers love it and welcome with overwhelm?
