Microsoft to buy Nokia for $7.2 billion

The recent news says that Microsoft has decided to take over the Nokia mobile business for 5.44 billion Euros ($7.2 billion). The step has been taken in order to give slow acceleration to the success of Google Inc. and Apple Inc. The Microsoft on late Monday announced about its buying of business and converting itself from a software development and operating system technology for computers and laptops into a more flexible and able company which will now deal with all type of internet related devices and gadgets.

Microsoft, a company which is settled in Redmond, Washington has now thought to spread its scope from developing software and operating systems for computers and related devices to an all-round company. This is done so because the demand for PC’s and laptops are shriveling as the mobile and smartphones are now available with all the technological features.

Since 30 years Microsoft is known for imparting its services and products like computers and laptops, the demand for which is now continuously decreasing with the ever increasing plea for Apple products. there are some apple iphones which has reduced the demand for Microsoft's products. The Apple and Samsung smartphones has overtook the market with its products like iPhone, iPad and also the Google which is known for its well-known and versatile operating system, Android. New android phones from Google is becoming headache for Microsoft company. Both Apple's and Google's best mobile phones will soon share a big market.

Nokia and Microsoft together have been effortlessly trying to get a share in the market with its collaboration, providing Windows for the Nokia Lumia smartphones since 2011. But despite of its sedulously trying hard to get over products like iPhone, they have outridden the Microsoft Windows software. Moreover not only the iPhone but other Apple and best Samsung phones, tables and smartphones have also been ahead of the Microsoft and Nokia.

Well with its current idea, Microsoft believes that this could be successful in reducing the demand gap between the Apple and Samsung products and Microsoft’s. This will incrase the popularity of Windows operating system and which may lead to a controlled share in the mobile market.

Microsoft present CEO, Ballmer declared 10 days ago that Microsoft needs a new bellwether and it requires a man who could revitalize and rejuvenate the company with its fresh blood and ideas. It is also expected that Nokia’s CEO and former Microsoft Executor, Stephon Elop would probably be the one to take over the position. Further, because of this Elop will hopefully quit its seat as CEO and President of Nokia and now he would be regarded as the Vice President of Nokia as to prepare for Microsoft CEO. Also, Nokia will be then headed by an Interim CEO, Risto Siilasmaa.

This deal will hopefully to be executed next year and also there will be in the shift in of about 32000 workers from Nokia to Microsoft which currently has 99000 workers.

Nokia will probably hold a meeting on Tuesday Morning to discuss more on this issue.
