Facebook,
the world’s most popular social networking site, which is also now a major hub
for advertisements, is one way ahead making money. If you want to contact your favorite
actor or your ideal, you may be charged a heavy amount by Facebook for
messaging them.
This is one
of the steps of Facebook administration for making your networking experience spam
free. In December, Facebook declared that a huge amount of fee may be charged to
them if people contact unknown people with massive fan following. No exact
amount was declared officially, rather than saying ‘a lot’.
While when Mark
Zuckerberg was tried to contact by sending him a message over Facebook, a message
with a $100 price tag emerged. The same price tag occurred when Facebook CFO
David Ebersman, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandburg were tried.
Facebook is
just trying to improve the service and is trying various methods which could
solve the spam issue and charging them for messaging is one of them. Apart from this, Facebook is now also selling
real gifts which could be gifted to your freinds and family from the comfort of
Facebook.
But the question
is charging so much on messaging to people with huge fan following is worthy after
all social networking sites serve as a medium or a link between people and
their ideals? Isn’t it?
