FLEXIBLE ‘PAPER TABLET’ WHICH CAN BE TWISTED AND DROPPED TO COME SOON!

Taking one step further in the advancements, researchers at Queen’s laboratory in Canada are now in a process of making a bendable and flexible Paper Tablet.  Revolutionary tablet screen is developed which is as thin as a sheet of paper. This could be easily dropped and twisted without any damage. Researchers see that this would replace the hefty tablets present nowadays within four five years.

This is possible with the joint efforts of Intel labs and Plastic Logic. This technology would yield some remarkable gadgets which would be unbreakable and thinner.

PaperTab is expected to be as interactive as normal tablets are. It would have a resolution of about 10.7 inch plastic display which is going to be a flexible touchscreen. It is powered by coreTM i5 second generation Intel processor.  Display is going to be more robust, thinner and lighter than today’s glass made laptops. It is likely to be launched later this week at CES (consumer electronics show) in Las Vegas.

Further paper tab is more advanced. A different display is provided for each app unlike today’s app which have a single display for all the apps and this makes it more versatile. Eventually, you may be able to turn pages here on PaperTab of eBook by simply folding the screen. It is going to be an amazing experience!
Imagine what you are supposed to do when you have to send an email? And the researchers provided a wonderful solution to that. If you have to send an email, you are just required to bend the display’s top corner. Developers are quite confident that this would altogether change the computing experience. Ultra notebooks and computers will be replaced by these paper tablets.

Further this would also rule out the possibility of bigger tabs. Bigger screens can be easily created by placing two or more tabs adjacent to each other.
