Sony has
finally revealed the curtains from its much awaited phone, Sony Xperia Z which was expected
to be dust and water resistant. A lot of gossips and expectations were in buzz before
Sony launched the phone at CES (consumer electronics show) in Las Vegas. Let’s have
a look over the much awaited phone specifications.
Screen:

5 inches big screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Users may be a little bit disappointed with the operating system as it will work on android 4.1 i.e. jelly bean. However, Sony says there will be updates available for the latest version of android too.

Smartphone supports
2 GB RAM and will support up to 16GB. In addition, with the help of micro storage
cards, you can further extend it up to 32 GB.
Camera:
Camera is
what will attract the customers more. It is equipped with a high resolution 13
mega pixels camera at back and has about 2.2 mega pixels in front which is more
than enough for video calling purpose. Here Sony Xperia Z gets a lead over iPhone
5 and Samsung S III which have 8 MP camera.

Connectivity:
Like iPhone
5, Sony Xperia Z too will support 4G/LTE connectivity over internet.
In addition device
will support near field communication i.e. NFC. Xperia Z is distinctly Sony. Sony
has put its signature all over the product from industrial design to UI and preloaded
software and this is what gives Xperia Z an essence of originality! The phone is
equipped with Sony’s rusted technologies. The phone witnesses NEX camera
installed with superior auto mode. In addition, to make video and image
processing simple and an amazing experience, Bravia engine 2 is provided.
Phone has
its own unique and sleep design unlike other phones. It is just 7.9mm at
thickness and has wonderful smooth round edges with tempered glass at back and
front.
